Week #7 College Football Rankings

The Associated Press Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches Poll rankings for college football's 7th week are now available.  And, like last week, there are no changes in the top five teams in either poll.  Alabama is still ranked #1 and it may stay that way for the foreseeable future since the Crimson Tide do not face a ranked team until they play #10 LSU on Saturday, November 9th.  Oregon is still ranked #2 but they will face a #16 ranked Washington Huskies team in Seattle on Saturday (College Gameday will be there).  It is also important to note that this game will mark the second week in a row in which the Huskies will play a top 5 team (Yesterday, Washington only lost to #5 Stanford by 3 points).  Ohio State remains at #4 in the AP Top 25 after their victory over Northwestern but the 6-0 Buckeyes have no game scheduled this week.  However, #3 Clemson will host Boston College on Saturday while #5 Stanford will travel to Salt Lake City for their conference game against Utah.  Arizona State, Ole Miss, and Maryland were all dropped from the AP rankings after their losses to Notre Dame, Auburn, and #6 Florida State, respectively.
