Gameday - Week #5

Another Saturday has arrived and that means it is time for another great day of college football!  ESPN's College Gameday is currently live from Athens, Georgia, for today's feature SEC game between #6 LSU and #9 Georgia (3:30PM - CBS).  Today's games also feature three other matches between ranked opponents, including #14 Oklahoma vs. #22 Notre Dame (3:30PM NBC), #21 Ole Miss vs. #1 Alabama (6:30 PM - ESPN), and #23 Wisconsin vs. #4 Ohio State (8:00PM - ABC).  The Big Ten Conference also has a big rivalry game between Iowa and Minnesota (3:30 PM ABC/ESPN2), where both teams play for the Floyd of Rosedale trophy, which looks like this:

Speaking of rivalry games, #10 Texas A&M plays Arkansas later this evening at 7:00PM (ESPN2) in the annual Southwest Classic.  The name of this game derives from when both teams were part of the now defunct Southwest Conference.  Like last week, I plan to use the comment thread to provide scoring and news updates for as many of today's games that I can follow.  In the meantime, I would like to ask a question to my readers:  What did you think about North Dakota State hosting ESPN's College Gameday?  Enjoy the day, everybody!
